📏 CHOOSING THE RIGHT WIDTH
All of my ramps use the same sturdy construction and are designed to support more than 150 lbs. The different ramp widths are about your pet's size, comfort and stability, rather than simply how much weight the ramp can hold.
This 12" wide model provides more walking room than my narrowest 10" ramp while still maintaining a relatively compact footprint.
As a pet climbs toward the top of a ramp, its weight is carried higher above the floor. A narrower ramp has a smaller footprint and can become more top-heavy with a larger or broader pet.
For larger, broader or heavier pets, I recommend one of my 16" wide ramps for additional walking room and greater side-to-side stability.
If you're unsure which width to choose, I recommend going wider.

📐 CHOOSING THE RIGHT LENGTH & HEIGHT
This 48" ramp adjusts to 16", 20", or 24" high.
Please measure from the floor to the top of the bed, couch or other furniture where your pet will be using the ramp before ordering.
The longer 48" walking surface provides a gentler incline than my 40" models when used at comparable heights.
For taller furniture—or if you'd simply like an even gentler incline—I recommend choosing one of my longer ramp models.

🐶 RAIL & TRACTION TREAD OPTIONS
This listing allows you to choose the configuration that works best for your pet.
The basic ramp does not include rails or traction treads. Rails and traction treads are available as upgrades through the listing options.
Rails can provide additional guidance and security for pets that tend to wander toward the edge of the ramp.
Traction treads provide additional footing across the carpeted walking surface and can be especially helpful for pets that need a little extra grip.
Please make sure the configuration you want is selected before adding the ramp to your cart.

🎨 FINISH & CARPET OPTIONS
Choose from four wood finishes:

Carpet colors:
• Gray
• Brown
• Charcoal
Because wood is a natural material, grain patterns and the appearance of each finish can vary slightly from one ramp to another.

🪵 BUILT IN MY ARKANSAS SHOP
These aren't mass-produced ramps coming out of a warehouse.
I build each ramp myself using sturdy cabinet-grade wood selected for strength and stability. Every ramp is cut, sanded, finished, carpeted and assembled by hand.
I've standardized my ramp sizes and configurations so I can maintain consistent construction, keep production manageable, and get orders completed and shipped more efficiently.

🐶 WHY I STARTED MAKING PET RAMPS
I originally built my first pet ramp for my Chihuahua, Neeko.
He was only about 5 lbs and needed some help getting onto the bed and furniture. I looked at the ramps and steps available at the time and decided I could build something better suited for him.
So I did.

That first ramp eventually turned into something I began making for other people's pets.
I had Neeko from the time he was about six months old until he passed away last year, just shy of 14. He was the little guy who started all of this, and helping other pets is still one of my favorite things about making these ramps.
