This 12" wide × 40" long adjustable pet ramp is designed for small pets that need a little extra walking room compared with my narrowest 10" model. It adjusts to 16" or 20" high, folds flat for storage, and features a carpeted walking surface with traction bumps for added grip.
Choose the basic ramp with no rails, or select from the available rail configurations to best fit your pet and your home.
Each ramp is built and finished by me in my Arkansas shop.

📏 CHOOSING THE RIGHT WIDTH
All of my ramps use the same sturdy construction and are designed to support more than 150 lbs. The different ramp widths are about your pet's size, comfort and stability, rather than simply how much weight the ramp can hold.
This 12" wide model gives small pets more walking room than my narrowest 10" ramp while still keeping the overall footprint compact.
As a pet climbs toward the top of a ramp, its weight is carried higher above the floor. A narrower ramp has a smaller footprint and can become more top-heavy with a larger or broader pet.
For larger, broader or heavier pets, I recommend one of my 16" wide ramps for additional walking room and greater side-to-side stability.
If you're unsure which width to choose, I recommend going wider.

📐 CHOOSING THE RIGHT LENGTH & HEIGHT
This 40" ramp adjusts to 16" or 20" high.
Please measure from the floor to the top of the furniture where your pet will be using the ramp before ordering.
If your bed or furniture is taller—or you'd simply like a gentler incline—I recommend choosing one of my longer ramp models.

🪵 MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTION
These aren't mass-produced ramps coming out of a warehouse.
I build them myself in my shop in Arkansas using sturdy, cabinet-grade wood materials. Each ramp is cut, sanded, finished, carpeted and assembled by hand.
Wood is a natural material, so grain patterns, knots and the appearance of the finish can vary slightly from one ramp to another. That's normal and part of what makes each handmade ramp unique.
I've standardized my ramp sizes and configurations so I can maintain consistent construction and get orders completed and shipped more efficiently.

🐶 RAIL OPTIONS
This listing allows you to choose the rail configuration that works best for your pet.
The basic ramp does not include rails. Rail options are available as upgrades through the variation menu.
Please make sure the rail configuration you want is selected before adding the ramp to your cart.

🐶 WHY I STARTED MAKING PET RAMPS
I originally built my first pet ramp for my Chihuahua, Neeko.
He was only about 5 lbs and needed some help getting onto the bed and furniture. I looked at the ramps and steps available at the time and decided I could build something better suited for him.
So I did.

That first ramp eventually turned into something I began making for other people's pets.

I had Neeko from the time he was about six months old until he passed away last year, just shy of 14. He was the little guy who started all of this, and helping other pets is still one of my favorite things about making these ramps.
